Lowering Prescription Fees

Prescription rates in Tennessee are rising yearly, without many Tennesseans being made aware. This is due to pharmacies charging a higher dispensing fee for low volume pharmacies - pharmacies that dispense less than 65,000 prescriptions in a year. On average, what was a $2 prescription has now become a $13.16 prescription. The Tennessee Employer Benefits Alliance remains an avid activist for lowering prescription fees, so Tennessee families don't see an unnecessary increase in their necessities.
