Memphis Happy Hour - 1st Stop on 2024 Summer Tour

On May 8, TEBA and our chairman, Michael Curcio, hosted our first happy hour on our 2024 TEBA Summer Tour. Our first stop was in Memphis at Owen Brennan’s, and we had a room full of good conversation, great food and drinks. Thank you, Austin Baker, with HRO Partners for having us at Owen Brennan’s and being a great co-host, driving multiple people to the event. Additionally, thank you Philip Johnson, with NABIP for also helping drive the crowd. 

This past session we had some major wins on important legislation and we’re monitoring how legislation passed in 2022 is affecting ERISA and ultimately the costs of employee benefits. 

Yesterday afternoon during the happy hour, with the main goal of educating Tennesseans, HR professionals, and business leaders while also building support, Michael discussed recent legislation and its impact on working Tennesseans and employers.  

Our tour is just getting started. Now we are preparing for our next happy hour in Nashville on May 28, and the following one in Chattanooga on May 30.
